  • Do not mark the caliper with an electric engraving pen.
  • Do not scratch the scale.
  • When the LCD display “B” indicates the battery voltage is low, immediately replace the battery.
  • Use a SR 44 battery (Silver oxide cell) only.
  • Keep the instrument in the box after use.

  • The caliper will zero set with “INC” indicator on the LCD, being ready for comparison measurement.

Absolute Measurement:

  • Perform absolute measurement (ABS mode) as follows.
  • The caliper always enters the ABS mode when the power is turned ON, displaying dimensions from zero point.
  • Unless “INC” is displayed on the LCD, reading displayed on the scale are in absolute range.
  • If “INC” appears on the upper left of the LCD, hold down the “ZERO/ ABS” switch for more than two seconds. “INC” will disappear and the caliper will be ready for measurement with respect to absolute origin.
  • Use upper jaws to measure ID (Inner diameter) and lower jaws to measure OD (Outer diameter).
