This Document describes (Standard Operating procedure) SOP for Operation of Air Conditioner.

 SOP for Operation of Air Conditioner.

I. Purpose & Scope:

• The purpose of this Sop for Operation of AC.
• This Standard operating procedure shall be applicable for Operation of AC in warehouse and quarantine area.

II. Responsibilities:

• All warehouse personnel shall be responsible to follow and implement this SOP.

III : Introduction and Procedural Part:

• PROCEDURE:

• At the end of the shift if there is  material in Quarantine area keep the AC in the switch “ON”  condition but if there is  no material in Quarantine area switch “OFF” the ACs .
• There are two ACs in raw material store. Keep both the ACs in “ON” condition from the beginning of the shift to the end of the shift.
• At the end of the shift, if any material material is available in raw material store keep “ON” the both ACs continuously 24 hours and if material is not available in warehouse area switch “OFF” the AC at the end of the shift.
• If AC is in “OFF” condition Switch “ON” that AC next day at the beginning of the shift or whenever required or if material receipt in warehouse.
• Material Should be stored as per cGMP environmental conditions in warehouse.
• Temperature record should be maintained as per the respective Temperature monitoring format.
• Cleaning of AC and its filters should be done by the engineering department once in the month or as per scheduled planned preventive maintenance.
• If any breakdown in AC immediately inform to engineering department for rectification.
• If more time required for rectification of AC and the meantime will not be able to maintain the temperature in area, then material should be transfer to another area.
