SOP for Packaging of loose shipper
I. Purpose & Scope:
- The purpose of this SOP for packaging of loose shipper.
- This Standard operating procedure shall be applicable for packaging of loose shipper.
II. Responsibilities:
• All Production, Quality Assurance personnel shall be responsible to follow and implement this SOP.
III : Introduction and Procedural Part :
Preliminary Check:
Verify and count the good blister /strip to be packed in loose shipper.
Lose jar pack is not admissible for packaging of loose shipper.
Procedure for packaging of loose shipper:
- On completion of final packing of batch the loose shipper to be prepared after verification and count of good blister/ strip/ jar/ aluminum and Lami tube.
- The loose shipper can be prepared as per packing style.
- All the recoverable good blister/ strip/ jar/ aluminum and lami tube shall be verified twice i.e. packers and production officer and to be pack in loose shipper.
- On completion of loose shipper packing the quantity shall be verified by senior production officer and IPQA.
- The loose shipper shall be identified with “LOOSE” on the front of the shipper label incase of export and for domestic it has to be written on top center of the shipper by permanent markers.
- The loose shipper net weight should be verified and shall be written in BPR.
- In case of export the loose shipper shall be folded in such a way that it should cover the loose packs without adding the Gap lets.
- In case of domestic vacant space in the shipper (if any) shall be filled with Gap lets with mentioning the gross and net weight in the BPR.
- The loose shipper should be indicated with Red tape across the corner of the shipper for identification of “LOOSE SHIPPER”.
- After packing of loose shipper sign of IPQA and production should be mentioned on the flap of shipper.
- The loose shipper shall be strapped at the end packing before transferred to finish good quarantine.
