This article consists of Standard test procedure for Applicator provided with the vaginal tablets.

    Standard test procedure for Applicator.

1. Description:

Following visual checking to be carried out.

Procedure: Examine at least 5 applicators in day light for appearance. Free from dust or any foreign particles. There should not be any deformity in applicators.

Note down the results in test data sheet.

2. Length:

(Test to be performed on maximum five samples)

Instrument: Vernier caliper.

Procedure: Measure the Length of applicators by using Vernier caliper and calculate the minimum, maximum and average Length.

3. Width:

(Test to be performed on maximum five samples)

Instrument: Vernier caliper.

Procedure: Measure the Width of applicators by using Vernier caliper and calculate the minimum, maximum and average Width.

Note down the results in test data sheet.

4. Thickness:

(Test to be performed on maximum five samples)

 Instrument: Vernier caliper.

Procedure: Measure the Thickness of applicators by using Vernier caliper and calculate the minimum, maximum and average Thickness.

Note down the results in test data sheet.

5. Weight: (Test to be performed on maximum five samples)

Instrument: Analytical Balance.

Procedure: Measure the Weight of applicators by using analytical balance and calculate the minimum, maximum and average Weight.
