EHS instructions During Manufacturing
This article contains the Safety/EHS instructions which need to add while preparation of Master Batch manufacturing record.
EHS instruction
Below instructions to be incorporated at respective stage of BMR
General EHS instruction: |

| 1 | OH category board is to be updated |
| 2 | Sweeping and the open use of compressed air are strictly prohibited. |
| 3 | Disposed of all waste as hazardous waste. |
Dispensing operation: |
|
| 1 | Dispensing should be done inside the LAF Safe zone only |
Sifting operation: |
|
| 1 | Ensure liners are used during loading from IBC to sifter and unloading from sifter to IBC/bin, if applicable. |
| 2 | Ensure earthing bonding is provided to sifter before start of operation. |
Wet granulation operation (RMG): |
|
| 1 | Ensure liners are used for material transfer from IBC to RMG . |
| 2 | Ensure all the interlock is in working condition. |
Drying (fluid bed dryer): |
|
| 1 | Ensure liners are used for material transfer from FBD bowl to Blender. |
Milling operation: |
|
| 1 | Ensure liners are used for material transfer from IBC/Bin/FBD bowl to Mill hopper and from mill discharge to IBC /bin. |
| 2 | Ensure earthing bonding is provided to mill before start of operation. |
| 3 | Ensure all rotating parts are guarded. |
Mixing/blending: |
|
| 1 | Ensure Barricading gate sensor is working. |
| 2 | During blending activity ensure that Barricading gate is in closed condition. |
Compaction: |
|
| 1 | Ensure liners are used for material transfer from Bin/IBC to roll compactor hopper and from roll compactor discharge to container |
| 2 | Ensure that Guards are provided for all open and running parts of roll compactor. |
Screening: |
|
| 1 | Ensure liners are used for material transfer from Blender to IBC/Bin/container. |
| 2 | Ensure earthing bonding is provided to mill before start of operation |
Compression/Encapsulation: |
|
| 1 | Ensure that ADU/Dust Collector connections are connected and in working condition. |
| 2 | Ensure the all transfer points are closed. |
| 3 | Ensure the all rotating parts are guarded. |
